I choose to see sacrifice as what I can give to others instead of seeing it as what I am giving up. Each and every day, we make the choice to serve others or serve ourselves.

Motherhood has been the ultimate sacrifice in my life, and I couldn’t be more blessed. As a mother, we often don’t have a choice but to serve our children and place their needs and wants above our own. But this is the beauty of being a parent. Through the sacrifice of our mind and body as a mother, women have the innate ability to better understand Christ’s ultimate sacrifice and draw closer to Him.

At the end of every day, I thank God for the sacrifices I get to make to serve my family and how these sacrifices, no matter how difficult, bring me joy.
